Our second attempt at planning a day trip: Date: Sunday, August 31 2008

Meet at Mobil in Kingston on Washington by the traffic/thruway circle at 9 or 10 AM - TBA, then off to Hooters just outside Hartford CT - recommended by the Metal Shop!, ...but this can all be changed of course...

Probably get to the restaurant around 1 or 2 PM, have some grub and head back out to wherever! Jim has GPS, so you cant get lost, ...I think!

Hopefully I will be feeling better by Sunday morning and can actually go on this trip.

This was the first attempt to plan a trip: Our first scheduled trip will be a quick trip this Saturday around the reservoir from my neck of the woods. We will meet at the Stewart's on Rt.28 at the corner of Zena road and Rt. 28 and take it from there, see the map below for more details.

The trip is approximately an hour and a half if you just drive it, but I plan on taking some time to take in the scenery along the way, so say about two hours total. We will stop in Phoenicia for lunch, we can have pizza at Brio's-LINK or they have also other stuff besides pizza, but we can decide when we get there.

I say we meet at 10 AM on Saturday, May 10th 2008 at Stewarts at point "A" below and head out from there, if you want to fill your tank up please get there earlier. See you then, and ride safe, ride smart, and have fun --> Ok it's a little cheesy, but I like it.

I will be making a list of everyone's names and phones even though they won't work in most of the places we will be going, at least we should have each others numbers - you never know what could happen.

I want this summer to be filled with as many moto trips as I can plan and attend!
